As a result of recent growth and continuing opportunity in the UK and beyond, the UK Financial Services Corporate Finance team is seeking to recruit at Director level. The team provides a full spectrum of independent Corporate Finance services to corporate entities both large and mid-tier, private equity houses and entrepreneurs.
You would typically expect to be winning work and managing teams delivering the following types of assignments:
• Strategic options reviews;
• Independent business valuations; and
• Disposals, acquisitions, capital raisings and other corporate M&A; deals.
The role provides an exceptional opportunity to move into a successful FS CF team giving access to the wider PwC FS industry group of over [3,000] specialists. You would work closely with other advisory experts to help clients transact and to manage crisis events. FS is a priority growth sector across our Deals businesses and the firm and this senior role represents an opportunity to help design and contribute to this growth.

About the role
As a Director within the team you would be expected to:
• Generate revenue through the development of propositions, client pitches and active networking both across the Firm and through an external network;
• Manage a number of teams delivering high quality advice to clients;
• Work across different teams in the Firm to deliver challenging and complex transactions and to support FS client relationships;
• Manage projects from risk and financial perspectives;
• Develop our people; and
• Represent the Firm at external events and contribute to trade journals to further develop our brand in the FS sector.

The following skills/experience are required for this role:
• A 2:1 degree or above (or equivalent)
• A career spent in FS M&A.; This will have been gained either through working in an investment bank, corporate M&A; function, boutique advisory firm, private equity house, strategy consultancy or "Big 4" professional services firm
• Management of teams
• Experience in delivery for clients
• Experience of selling M&A; advice
• Network within the industry
Good to demonstrate
• A professional qualification such as ACA or MBA
• Experience of providing high quality formal reports and presentations
• Experience of presenting to conferences and developing client centred propositions
• Membership of industry bodies
• FCA approved person
