As a top talent candidate you will be comfortable consulting with our client's business functions and engaging at all levels within an organisation. You may have some experience of financial systems along with a desire to expand your knowledge in relation to both business consulting and enterprise applications. This role is particularly attractive to any accountants wishing to explore a career beyond traditional accountancy options.
About the role
PwC delivers real business transformation across a broad range of multinational companies across all sectors and public sector bodies.
The successful candidate will become part of this UK Consulting practice; they will have a background in accountancy (either in practice or industry) with an ambition to become more technology focused and deliver value to clients across the financial systems life cycle - from assessment and design to implementation of systems, to embedding and operating within the business.
Change and variety are a huge part of our Consulting practice, therefore there is a requirement for the individual to be mobile in terms of travel as business needs require.

The role may involve but not be limited to:
· All aspects of financial systems consulting including:
systems selection;
specifying requirements for financial systems;
systems implementation;
systems modification and development to support wider transformational change;
and developing and delivering end user training.
· Business process re-engineering;
· Liaison with third party suppliers (system integrators);
· Taking advantage of new opportunities for learning, sharing new knowledge, being intellectually agile and thinking creatively.
· Develop strong working relationships with client management throughout the project lifecycle to support them and transfer skills where appropriate.
· Take operational responsibility for project team members and support and mentor more junior members of the team when required.
· Promptly address problems, challenging the questionable behaviour of others and maintaining s
· Recognised accountancy qualification eg. ACA, ACCA, CIMA
· Experience of using financial systems
· Knowledge on Oracle and modules including GL, Purchasing, AP, AR, Order Management, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, Hyperion Financial Management
· Knowledge on how to configure Oracle and ideally Oracle implementation experience
· Knowledge of ERP applications such as Oracle, Dynamics etc
· Strong MS Excel skills
· Business analysis
· Good communication skills
· Good interpersonal skills
· Ability to work with senior stakeholders
· Experience of implementing financial systems, their design, testing and development and upgrade
· Project management experience
· Experience of engaging with clients to assess business issues and shape client vision, and delivery approach
· Experience of leading teams
· Experience engaging with clients
· Experience of communication activities
· Understanding of the market / industry for ERP systems
