PwC is looking for Senior Managers to perform the role of Client Drivers supporting the Public Sector and Financial Services focussed accounts. The role of the Client Driver is to provide total account support, challenge and drive to help deliver revenue and margin growth on the firm's most significant priority accounts.
The successful candidate will join the account management capability within CMD. The CMD community supports the firm by providing a comprehensive range of marketing and business development skills including brand management, CRM, market and business research, events, campaign management, pitch support, sales support, account management and opportunity management. CMD also works closely with the firm's communications function which supports the internal, external and on-line aspects of the firm's go to market strategy.
About the role
CMD is a centralised support function and covers all aspects of professional services marketing, sales support and business development. The prime area of focus for the function is to support the development and implementation of the firm's market strategy and in particular to deliver:
• Revenue growth
• Enhanced relationships and networks
• A distinctive brand experience
The PwC strategy is designed to provide a sharper focus on market issues in order to prioritise growth opportunities and align our resources to deliver them. Our plan is to obtain transformational growth of our consulting market share and to extend our lead in our core businesses of audit, tax, business recovery services and transactions.
This account management group within CMD comprises a team of business development professionals who support the firm's One Firm Client Account Programme. This programme allows PwC to focus more sharply on a smaller number of client accounts, supporting them more comprehensively in order to maximise revenue growth and attain maximum penetration across each LoS.
The jobholder will report to the Director of Client Programmes in the UK. The jobholder will be expected to manage multiple relationships with internal stakeholders, particularly the Global Relationship Partner (GRP), UK LP and the global account team.
In this role, the jobholder:
• Works with the GRP and core account team to develop and implement an effective account strategy for one of the firm's global priority clients • Co-ordinates account team activity by effectively managing the internal global network • Identifies and manages opportunities through the sales cycle using Velocity/PwC Experience principles • Stays aware of client, market & industry issues to bring thought leadership, insights & a respected point of view to SMEs/proposal teams • Collates and analyses data to inform management decisions • Drives engagement compliance & risk management • Implements and manages systematic client engagement processes ie ISPRs/feedback • Establishes and delivers value to new client relationships • Introduces Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and PwC propositions to the account team and to clients • Takes overall responsibility for the commercial management relating to overall ratecard and specific engagement contracts
• Proven track record in business development, sales and marketing ideally within a professional services environment.
• A sound business understanding as well as a broad knowledge of the firm's xLoS service offering
• High degree of commercial awareness
• Strong knowledge of Velocity methodology & PwC Experience
• Proven experience in executing account strategy and implementing account management processes
• Excellent project management skills (supervising and executing)
• Thorough understanding of the firm's risk and quality procedures
• Excellent influencing and powerful communications skills
• Creative and innovative approach
• Proactive with a positive "can do" attitude
• Self starter and an ability to work unsupervised
• Completer/finisher
