We are currently recruiting a Category Fragrance Manager within Unilever's Deodorant Category; part of Unilever's R&D; function.
The Deodorant Category has had many years of consecutive double digit growth, based on innovation and delivery of consumer preferred mixes across three global brands: Axe, Rexona and Dove. Fragrance is central to the delivery of successful product mixes, driving selection at point of purchase and brand / product loyalty.
In this role, you will be responsible for the following:
· Defining and documenting the Deodorants Global Fragrance Strategy and agreeing it with the Category business leadership.
· Ensuring all fragrance activities are aligned with the strategy
· Lead the partnership with the Fragrance Houses and facilitating delivery of winning fragrances.
· Maintain an in-depth understanding of the role of fragrance in driving consumer preference in the Deodorants Category and translate this into the long-term programme for the Category.
· Work as a fragrance expert with a wide range of functions (marketing, R&D;, Supply Chain etc) globally and regionally.
· Working successfully across the R&D; function and across geographies
· Experience of implementing a Global Fragrance Strategy.
· Proven Olfactive capability (ability to identify and describe fragrance materials)
· Fragrance Design (consumer understanding, olfactive preferences, competitive fragrance landscape, Brand fragrance strategies)
· Experience of working with Fragrance Houses
· Fragrance assessment (expert olfactive evaluation of fragrance performance and hedonics in the context of Brand and Category)
