Business Unit Manager - Vaccines
Our TOP10 Pharma partner is looking for a Business Unit Manager for their Vaccines, to develop and support the sales and successfully manage the extension for the future.

The role of the Business Unit Manager:
Driving the development and implementation of regional sales strategy in line with overall business strategy through the most effective utilization of resources in order to achieve the overall objectives. Manage and develop strategic customers in a manner consistent with company goals.

Tasks and responsibilities of the Business Unit Manager:
  • Lead the sales organisation to achieve performance objectives and through periods of change demonstrating winning leadership behaviours
  • Contribute to the development of the operational plan and responsible for its execution 
  • Execute effectively the Cluster agreed brand strategy 
  • Actively contribute to the development of the cluster brand strategies 
  • Connect directly with customers on an ongoing basis to gain direct customer insight in order to develop commercial opportunities accordingly.
  • Own and develop the relationship with KEEs and respectively align with all involved functions (Medical, Market Access, Cluster Medical and Commercial)
  • Actively contribute to the market access activities
  • Ensure all appropriate activities are delivered within agreed A&P of signed off operational plan
  • Open, curious and engaged to cross functional business agendas and corporate strategy
  • Communicate a clear vision and ‘reason to believe’ to the TA SF team 
  • Actively support and constructively challenge the SF by setting ambitious and pragmatic goals, recognizing and celebrating individual and team accomplishments and by building trust across the team.
  • Clearly communicate and embed the agreed sales strategy (S&T, C&F, projects, KAM) with the SF team
  • Hold self accountable and act as a role model of personal leadership, showcasing self-drive, right attitude, high levels of energy release, discipline in execution and focus on performance.

Requirement of the Business Unit Manager:
  • University Degree of Science, Medical, Pharmacy or Commercial
  • Leadership skills and Sales Manager experience
  • Rx Pharma experience
  • Proven track-record in delivering operational excellence and ability to set direction and inspire as well as drive performance
  • Commercially oriented coaching skills & experience
  • Strong verbal and written English
