Is the global leader in industrial hygiene services.

We are hiring an experienced Business Development Manager For their newly created Life Sciences division, offering dedicated programs for effective cleaning and disinfection to the Pharmaceutical and Personal Care Industry in Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria and Ukraine.

Your new role
  • Achieve target sales growth for the individual territory and actively contribute to the achievement of the team targets on a regional basis.
  •  Prepare and deliver personalised recommendations for products, processes and programs to address cleaning and sanitation problems at Pharmaceutical and Cosmetic producers
  • Make recommendations on improved cleaning techniques or cleaning equipment to ensure customer’s processes are efficient and effective
  • Closely cooperate with the local distributor to expand the Contamination Control business in the region and promote the value of ECOLAB technical services
  • Understand the industry specific regulatory and quality requirements, anticipate and address the customer's needs
  •  Through regular visits to customer sites, build strong personal relationships across the customer site with production, quality, supervisory, management, office and corporate staff, tailoring communication to the audience.
  • Ensure local support, close cooperation and full exchange of information with Global Corporate Account Managers 
  • Provide and/or coordinate access to technical support to key customers
  • Establish efficient communication with other team members and internal functions to meet customers’ needs

What you'll need to succeed

  • 5+ years’ experience in manufacturing or selling into pharmaceutical or health and beauty industries 
  • Proven sales record with experience managing a sales territory
  • Strong commercial acumen, good understanding of profitability drivers 
  • Ability to sell value, strong communication and presentation skills 
  • Project management, organisational and planning skills; 
  • Executive presence to influence senior decision-makers 
  • Ability to work independently with strong work ethic and integrity 
  • Willingness to travel up to 60% within the specific geography including occasional overnight travel 
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills in both English and Hungarian; 
  • Valid driver’s license.
