The PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Southampton office is currently looking to recruit an experienced Audit Senior Associate to complement our already existing team.

The Southampton office includes approximately 90 partners and staff in Assurance and provides a mix of work in industries such as manufacturing, technology, and the service sector. Clients range from entrepreneurs to major multinationals. Audit and special work for a range of clients in the Southampton office include:
• Providing audit and business advice to a variety of clients from small, fast growing clients to large corporate entities; • An on site co-ordination role for audit clients including planning, day to day control, liaising with clients and completing audit assignments; • Building and maintaining strong relationships with new and established clients; • Working and liaising with other members of the audit team, and colleagues in other parts of the firm as necessary to provide high quality client service; • Reporting directly to a Partner, Senior Manager or Manager;
The Southampton Office
The Southampton office is located in Ocean Village, a superb location overlooking the waterfront, having the advantage of easy access to London.
The South Coast is a fantastic environment in which to live and work, with areas of natural beauty such as the New Forest and the Isle of Wight right on the doorstep. There is an abundance of picturesque villages, excellent beaches and a thriving business community.
Southampton is a lively and prosperous city with a variety of sporting and social activities to enjoy. St Mary's Stadium hosts football and the area is renowned for its watersports, in particular having a strong sailing community.Likewise, the office has a buzzing social life, including various sports teams, and organised events.
As a Senior Associate within
our Southampton office you will be required to:
• Provide audit and business advice to a variety of clients • Provide an on-site co-ordination role for audit clients including planning, day to day control of the audit team, liaising with clients and completing audit assignments • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and established clients • Work and liaise with other members of the audit team and colleagues in other parts of the firm as necessary to provide high quality clients service • Report directly to a partner, director, senior manager or manager • Have supervisory responsibility for teams of up to 10 people • Coach and train other staff • Some assignments may require travel and staying away from home
• Must be educated to degree level • Must be ACA or similarly qualified • Have significant auditing experience • Other relevant competencies include financial reporting frameworks such as UK GAAP, IFRS and auditing frameworks such as UK ISAs.
