currently looking to recruit experienced Audit Senior Associates to
complement our existing team.
The office at Gatwick reflects PwC strategy to grow its presence in the South
of London market. This diverse region is expected to be one of the
world's 15 most entrepreneurial and innovative regions. This backdrop
ensures that the Gatwick office will provide significant opportunities for our
staff to develop their careers. The large and attractive market also
offers exciting growth and revenue opportunities for the firm and we have made
a major investment with the opening of this new office.
The Gatwick
office is headed up by a strong senior management team and with 100 partners
and staff and offers the full range of PwC services, including assurance, tax,
corporate finance, transaction services, legal services, amongst others.

industries. Gatwick is also the firms centre of excellence for the travel
industry and therefore our client base includes a number of household travel
companies. The office has a middle market focus, which means that we work
with many different companies including owner-managed businesses, subsidiary
companies of foreign parents, large private companies and AIM/Listed companies.

About the role
As a Senior
Associate within our Gatwick office you will be required to do the below
and you must therefore have this experience, gained in previous roles:
• Provide audit and business advice to a variety of clients • Provide an on-site co-ordination role for audit clients including planning, day to day control of the audit team, liaising with clients and completing audit assignments • Work and liaise with other members of the audit team and colleagues in other parts of the firm as necessary to provide high quality clients service • Report directly to a partner, director, senior manager or manager • Have supervisory responsibility for teams of up to 10 people
• Need to travel/overnight stays away from home: Yes - minimal but depends on ad hoc projects • Opportunity for flexible working (hours)?: Yes • Opportunity for working from home?: minimal but depends on ad hoc projects • Opportunity for job sharing?: No
Essential requirements
• Must be educated to degree level • Must be ACA or similarly qualified • Have significant auditing experience
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and established audit clients • Strong business awareness, sound reporting skills and the ability to work under your own initiative
relevant competencies include financial reporting frameworks such as UK GAAP,
IFRS and auditing frameworks such as UK ISA's. US GAAP would also be an
advantage as would experience of working with a Big 4 Professional services
