PwC's Treasury and Commodities teams provides consultancy advice to clients across the insurance industries, trading and large corporates. Our teams provide specialist services to across a wide geographical area, including the UK, Europe and the Middle East.

About the role
Building on this success, we are now seeking Senior Managers and Managers to join our team.
As a Senior Manager or Manager in the team, you will be responsible for leading advisory and assurance services to our clients including;
• Reviews of treasury risk management policies, processes, controls
• Technical accounting advice on financial instruments and or raising external debt
• Developing and implementing market, credit and liquidity management programs
• Advice on risk management, hedging strategies and appropriate derivative instruments
• Leading Treasury transformation projects
• Support clients in the selection and implementation of treasury, cash and commodities systems
• Provide assurance to audit clients
• Involvement in transaction-related and M&A; projects.

Essential skills:
• Accounting qualification preferred but not essential
• Ability to benchmark Treasury function effectiveness
• Strong analytical skills including the ability to interpret financial and non-financial data
• Strong attention to detail
• Drive and determination to bring value to our clients
• Excellent communication skills both written and oral
• External audit experience desirable but not essential
• Ability to work both in small teams and as part of larger projects
You need to have at least 3 of these skills:
• Associate member of the ACT or studying towards
• Strong understanding of the Trading, Corporate Treasury or Financial Services sector, ideally insurance, including the rating agencies and also the current regulatory landscape including Solvency II
• Experience of working with or in treasury or trading teams
• Financial and capital modelling experience
• Enterprise risk management experience
• Knowledge of accounting for financial instruments
• Practical experience or involvement in the implementation of key treasury, cash or commodities trading systems including and not limited to Openlink, SunGard, WallStreet, Reval, Murex and Triplepoint
• Strong ability to work in a team environment including project management
• Practical involvement in treasury and cash system implementations
