Our client has been providing services, advice and support to commissioners in and around South London since November 2012. Their mission is to support excellence in commissioning to improve outcomes for patients and they have set themselves up to deliver on that mission. The company offers a full range of services suitable for Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs), from generic business support to enhanced commissioning services. They also provide services to NHS England that cover the whole of London and the south of England and to four local NHS providers. Their vision is to provide high quality support to commissioners to improve health and wellbeing.
National Healthcare Provider looking for a graduate with admin experience to join their offices in Southwark!
£22,000 - £26,000 depending on experience
Desired start date: 4th November
Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Partnership Board and various associated committees
  • Liaising with senior Directors and other colleagues to organise meetings, prepare agenda, collate and circulate papers, minute meeting and chase follow up actions.
  • Acting as a point of contact for teams, dealing and responding effectively with complex queries from stakeholders and passing on relevant information to appropriate team members sensitively and autonomously;
  • Running and collating reports which may include reports to the Board and senior management as required;
  • Developing and maintaining effective electronic and paper filing systems, to ensure that information is kept securely and is accessible to other members of the team;
  • Sorting and prioritising all incoming mail and e-mail, distributing as appropriate;
  • Organising and planning events as necessary supporting information material;
  • Working together with other administrators/PA's within the Directorate to provide an effective network of communication including dealing with visitors to the base and being flexible to cover other administrators' general duties on the base;
  • Taking telephone calls for members of the team when they are away from their desk or out of the office and using their initiative to deal with phone calls and messages;
  • Ensuring all urgent and/or confidential communications are received and distributed from/to relevant parties in a timely manner;
Key Requirements:
  • Educated to degree level.
  • Some experience working in administration and supporting meetings
  • Demonstrable experience in dealing with the public and dealing with sensitive and confidential information.
  • Intermediate knowledge of IT systems and software programmes such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
  • A clear communicator with excellent writing, data entry and presentation skills: capable of constructing and delivering clear information/instructions to staff and service users.
  • Able to multitask and work well under pressure in a busy working environment.
  • Effective team worker.
  • Able to work on your own initiative, organising and prioritising your own and other workloads to changing and often tight deadlines.
  • Professional, calm and efficient manner.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and trust.
  • Committed to continuing professional development.
  • Positive and flexible approach to work.
  • Knowledge of the healthcare sector would be a bonus.
