We are looking for full time Accounting Team Leader with the following skills and experience:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting
At least 5 years of relevant experience
Experience in a multi-national, shared services environment
Proven people management practice
Willingness to learn additional accounting platforms
Thorough knowledge of IFRS and accrual basis accounting.
Experience reviewing financials and documentation for accuracy and improvement
Attention to detail, desire for structure and organization, assertiveness, and pride in high quality work
Professional verbal and written communication skills
Responsible for managing and motivating the team of accounting professionals
Supervise the regular monthly closing and reporting activities
Coordinate the posting of general ledger and the reconciliation of journals
Supervise timely and accurate processing of accounting transactions
Allocate tasks/duties within the team and ensuring effective team work
Provide coaching and support to help achieving targets and single performance expectations
Support Business partners in General Ledger and Financial reporting issues
Deliver high quality and customer focused service to clients
Taking part in new process migrations from local markets
