Worldwide Lean Logistics Lead

Job Summary:

Our multinational client is looking for a senior professional with deep Lean and Six Sigma knowledge and more than 5 years production or assembly environment experience.

The individual would be a Lean Leader on world wide projects and could manage the Lean Customization network worldwide.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, support and provide training and mentoring to the WW Logistics team members in the Lean methodology to develop a team of practitioners & professionals
  • Provide assistance by leading workshops about problem-solving and Kaizen events, Process and Value Stream Mapping exercises that tie to logistics strategic priorities
  • Lead effort to document and maintain Business Process Mapping across all logistics processes (Inbound, Warehousing, Outbound, Reverse), down to level making it possible to compare ways of working, efficiency and controls and drove continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support other Logistics Process Owners on deploying the “Global Process framework” following a structured approach; assist in the identification and removal of barriers to successful deployment of Process Ownership framework
  • Ensure consistency in process mapping & process analysis, change management, and project management methodology across Logistics organization
  • Provide expertise on best practices, industry knowledge
  • Pursue End-to-End process optimization and efficiency, working and aligning with other teams
  • Engage and animate a global team of Engineering & Customization specialists
  • Implement and manage the WW Customization performance management system (regular reviews, standard agenda, KPI's)
  • List and document sub-processes; drive harmonized business processes; identify local exceptions
  • Define common balanced set of metrics, capture baseline and report results; analyze process effectiveness, progress to strategy
  • Complete and maintain SWOT analysis; identify improvement and action plan
  • Coordinate internal benchmark/ sharing and deployment of best practice & initiatives
  • Lead Strategy discussion; champion Innovation


  • Graduate in Engineering  or equivalent experience in production or assembly field
  • Minimum 5-6years professional experience in international environment
  • 5+ years of experience in working in production/ assembly environment would be great
  • Deep knowledge of Lean and Six sigma tools and methods
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in implementation of Lean practices
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in Project Management
  • Supply Chain APICS and Project Management PMP certification is a plus
  • Fluent English
  • Occasional travel required (about 1 week every month)
  • Leadership and inter-personal skills
  • Ability to communicate and coordinate a virtual and international network
  • Excellent training and presentation skills with solid communication capabilities and practices
