Weblogic Administrator [KS-02033]

We are currently seeking a Weblogic Specialist to join our client’s team. This is a technically demanding, “hands-on role”. Daily intensive interaction with an existing highly skilled team that is fast-paced and goal-oriented.


Position, objectives:

• Professional knowledge in Unix, Linux system operation
• Collect and analyse the available technical information from the operational system and make the necessary decision to guarantee the 99,9 % availability
• Control the managed environments health status with upgrade and patch software packages
• Keep all system documentation architecture plan version/status up to date
• Daily operation experience in Oracle Middleware area
• Configure, deploy and support Oracle BEA Weblogic
• Ongoing support and development of numerous internet-facing applications
• Work with developers and other technical resources consistently
• Work on and evolve the technical environments
• Occasional on-call support will be required
• Strong experience in Oracle system monitoring tools (eg. Oracle Enterprise Manager)

Requirements:

• Diploma in Engineering, IT
• Fluent English – verbal and written
• Proactive approach
• Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Min. 5 years strong experience in IT Infrastructure operation
• Strong experience in operation of Unix, Linux systems
• Web based application administration experience
• Network operation practice
• Must be intimately familiar in all aspects of WebLogic application server configuration and deployment
• Strong knowledge of Unix or Linux computing environments.
• WLST scripting, Java and Jrockit programming language experience
• Communication with Oracle database instances via standard interfaces (eg. API, web service)
