Fulfils the role of functional Testing Coordinator for a testing team of up to 20 testers in Hungary. The testing team might be based in three locations (Debrecen, Budapest and Pecs). Co-operates with clients/users and senior testers in Germany and Hungary to agree on the testing strategy for given development projects. Counterpart of the test manager in Germany. Collaboration and involvement of the Hungarian testing team. Steering of the Onsite Modell for testers and test management in Germany (Mannheim & Cologne). Assess the current status of the test management, propose step-wise improvements and show how these are linked to achieving business goals within the organizational context of test management. Creation of test design, test planning and test specification for system (integration) tests. Providing a monthly management reporting for the team leads in Hungary and Germany. Ensures that any risks associated with the agreed test strategy and the system test plan are clearly documented and described to the clients/users and colleagues. Manages all risks associated with the testing and takes preventative actions. Plans, arranges and controls meetings, workshops and relations with client/user staff during test planning and throughout subsequent development and testing activities. Responsible for all phases of testing and the management of the testing activities within a development project. Plans or oversees the scheduling of the system and acceptance tests and coordinates the execution of these programs. Responsible for the production and approval of all testing deliverables and achievement of testing milestones during a project. Estimates costs for testing programs in collaboration with the cost responsible. Strives to minimize tests related expenses. Aims to continuous service improvement through inputs on optimization possibilities. Conducts performance reviews and mentors more junior team members in the Hungarian testing team.
High level education or professional experience, IT degree is an advantage Intermediate English and German language knowledge Minimum 2-3 years experience in project work, with possibly management experience Experience in SW (Application Testing, Interoperability Testing, System Integration Testing) Experience in application testing for Win7/Win10 and SCCM environment is not expected, but would be an advantage ISTQB Foundation certification or equivalent know how ISTQB Test Management certification is not expected, but would be an advantage Willingness to travel inside Hungary (Debrecen, Budapest, Pecs) and to Germany (Mannheim, Cologne) Willingness for further education (e. g. ISTQB Test Manager, language skills) Excellence in a specialized professional field (comprehensive knowledge of the theories, methodology and practice of a professional field and deep understanding of several other fields) Proficiency in a specialized field or a broad insight into the relationship between different fields. Knowledge is acquired through deep and/or broad experience built on concepts and principles.
