Test Lead/Senior Test Automation Engineer (QA) - London or Zürich (ID: PJ1412)

On behalf of our well-known multinational client operating in the IT sector we are looking for senior colleagues for the following position:

Senior Test Automation Engineer (QA) - London or Zürich

Tasks:
- Participating in the automation testing and quality assurance part of software developement
- Bringing decisions in all issues and leading the tester team
- Analysis of functional requirements, preparing test cases,
- Preparing automated test scripts, maintenance, running,
- Finding programming bugs, documentation, follow-up,
- Close cooperation with the development team(s),
- Active participation in functional test processes,
- Coordinating work and resources within dispersed teams

Requirements:
- 3+ years relevant working experience in QA/Testing
- Work experience in a financial industry (preferably in front office/ecommerce. FX specific experience is a plus)
- Fluent English (both oral and written)

Technical skills:
- An essential understanding of software testing and SDLC methodologies concepts (Knowledge of agile methodologies is a plus)
- Experience with industry standard automation/performance testing tools (QTP knowledge is a plus)
- Exposure to following technologies: XML, Unix, Databases (MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle), scripting languages (VBS or javascript), SDLC tools (Jira HP QC)

- Must have strong relationship skills and a demonstrated ability to work within a team
- Strong communication skills
- Good analytical skills
- Effectively balance testing efforts with project constraints on budget and schedule
- Ability to prioritize and respond dynamically to a changing environment
- Self-motivated, multitasking, reliable to deliver on time, a quick-thinker, be able to work in a fast-paced work environment
