Having the responsibility and accountability to be on-call or/and on-shift.
Perform Incident Management activities such as technical analysis and resolution.
Plan and perform Request Management activities.
Plan and perform Change Management activities such as planning and implementation.
Plan and perform Release Management activities.
Perform Problem Management activities to ensure that recurring incidents are eliminated.
Recommend and execute proactive / improvement initiatives.
Participate in situation meetings to provide feedback/updates/technical consultation to the situation/landscape managers, including the customer.
Prepares (new and evergreen) documentation to completion, and formal sign-off to be used with incident/change/request management activities thus abiding with T-Systems’ operational excellence requirements.
Collaborate (and execute) within the department or with other units in the organization, on activities such as Projects, Deployment, Demand, Consultancy (not limited to), where the expertise are deemed appropriate.
Trains, coaches and mentors less senior staff within his/her organization or as directed by relevant stakeholders, playing a very important role in employee development.
All accountabilities mentioned above are governed by SLAs and services delivered must conform to the parameters.
Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering.
At least 5 years experience in an IT function, of which 3 years experience has been as an application or middleware operations engineer role..
At least 3 years as a Windows/UNIX/LINUX Systems Administrator role with 5 years of technical experience.
At least 3 years experience in a multi disciplined IT environment with strong background in the delivery of operational services, operational support, and proactive management.
Strong interpersonal skills to interact with fellow team members, fellow T-Systems and bundle teams both regionally and globally, customer project resources for project-type activities, and various customer and customer segment representatives.
