Supplies Vendor Management Specialist

Job Summary:

Within the global supply chain department, this position is in charge of implementing and managing the supplies vendors located in Europe, Middle East, Africa ( EMEA ). The main responsibilities are the continuous performance monitoring of the existing supplies partners, to maintaining and improving end-to-end consumables management processes and the coordination of the selection and implementation of new supplies vendors.


Key Responsibilities:

  • As a member of the Supplies Vendor Management Team develop and centralize the supplies vendor management processes in EMEA in line with the WW strategy
  • Recommend and implement techniques to improve the E2E processes, increase efficiency by cost saving or taking advantage of opportunities
  • Coordinate monthly & quarterly operational reviews with partners
  • Review key performance indicators with countries and vendor, identify deviations, ensure action plan is built by vendor and monitor action plan
  • Review and re-negotiate pricing with vendor on contractual periodicity
  • Track payment of invoices to and from partner (fulfillment fee & buy back)
  • Ensure process or systems change requirements are implemented by partner in due time
  • Act as interface with partner for all matters ; technical, process, systems, financial
  • Define Scope Of Work for new activities
  • Manage negotiations with the Vendor
  • Lead new projects where the Vendor is involved
  • Produce weekly and monthly reporting of the activities on a timely manner
  • Measure and report the performance of each activity on a regular basis



  • BA or BSc degree in Business or related field
  • Minimum 3-4 years professional experience in vendor management or in supply chain operations management role
  • Ability to create structures and processes through formal and informal leadership
  • Significant experience interacting with both internal and external customers
  • Experience in Service companies and/or Service Delivery organization is a plus
  • Experience in project management would be a great advantage
  • Financial background would be and advantage (invoices, financial data)
  • Advanced knowledge of excel, ERP system (SAP), Siebel would be an advantage
  • Fluent in English, additional language being a plus
  • Strong focus on the customer and the operational aspects of the business
  • Excellent analytics and summarization skills, able to develop business processes
  • Excellent team player
  • Excellent reporting and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a multicultural and changing environment
  • Rigorous, well organized and able to manage priorities
  • Ability to travel
