Strategy Manager - Savings - Swindon, City, SN3 1TA

We need:
•An Strategy Manager - Savings in Swindon
•£39,727 - £50,762 a year on a permanent, 35 hour week contract

Our hugely respected award-winning products and long term value have helped make Nationwide the UK's second largest Savings provider. We now need commercially savvy, expert individuals who can support us in achieving our ambitions for this key product area at the very heart of Nationwide.

Who we're looking for
You'll need to:
•Have the ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and through written means
•Have a good commercial understanding with the ability to apply that to a range of different situations
•Have the ability to work with people from different teams to collate information and deliver work in a timely manner
•Have an ability to analyse and understand data and information, get to the bottom of what it really means and then make recommendations to drive our savings strategy forward
•Have strong skills in and experience of using MS PowerPoint, MS Word and MS Excel
•Have good organisational skills and the ability to proactively manage your own workload

What you'll be doing
•Formulate the savings strategy and communicate across the business, including leading the production of a key annual strategy document
•Drive understanding of the macro-economic, competitor strategies and lead thinking of how Nationwide should respond
•Draft ad hoc presentations for the Head of Savings
•Support executive debate as we consider how the Savings team will support Nationwide's strategic objectives over the next five years
•Support the production of key team governance documentation
Your work will find its way into the hands of some of the most senior people in the organisation. Working as part of a busy team, you will be required to prioritise and manage your own workload.
