To ensure that key controls around local regulatory reporting are in place and working effectively and any control weaknesses are appropriately addressed and escalated. To assess current control environment along with design and implement effective internal financial control framework To coordinate migration of statistical and prudential reporting processes of additional countries
- Identify and evaluate design and operating control deficiencies; - Ensure that control issues are escalated to appropriate level. - Co-ordinating controls and standardization related projects that span multiple countries and teams, or which require special expertise.. - Review the regulatory reporting control environment of any new countries whose processes are being migrated and come up with recommendations before, during and after process migrations
- University / College degree in finance / accounting - Fluent English language skills in written and spoken - 4 years of work experience in financial reporting / auditing / accounting roles • Knowledge of capital and financial market products and Basel II/III • Prior experience in a regulatory or risk reporting role is an advantage - Advanced MS Excel and Access knowledge - Strong planning & organisational skills - Excellent analytical skills and attention to details - Professional communication & interpersonal skills.
