Job descriptionThe Role
Ensuring we're always complying with the relevant procedure requirements across various special processes, in this involving role you will need to juggle SAFRAN, national, NADCAP and customer specifications. We'll expect you to take on the responsibility for developing and improving our procedures and processes, and it will be up to you to qualify our internal special processes and those of relevant suppliers. Working closely with stakeholders, you will manage their expectations and create a positive working environment. You will also adopt the culture of the 12 Quality Basics and promote cross-functional team working.
We're always looking to improve the way we do things, so you will be responsible for driving continuous improvement, including sharing your expertise and knowledge with your colleagues. This will extend to conducting training with stakeholders and operators, plus managing any corrective actions after carrying out internal and special process audits. Utilising your excellent report-writing and presentation skills, you will communicate key issues and solutions to management in a clear, concise and timely manner.
The Requirements
With an outstanding technical knowledge of composites manufacturing processes and/or laboratory processes, you will ideally have a good understanding of NADCAP certification processes and NUCAP. Qualified to degree or HND level, or with equivalent experience in a relevant field, you will ideally have a formal quality qualification and be eligible for membership of the IQA. Confident analysing and problem-solving, experience of auditing would be distinctly advantageous.
We'll be looking to you to provide innovative solutions to challenges, so you'll need to be a team-player with fantastic powers of persuasion and confident negotiating skills. Meticulously organised, your written and verbal communication skills will be matched by your willingness to challenge authority when necessary. A solid working knowledge of written and spoken French will set you apart from the crowd.
