General responsibilities

  • Representing the application to customers
  • Supporting go-live and hypercase phases
  • Ensuring the operation of the application in accordance with the SLAs
  • Performing assessment of issues with a deep knowledge on hardware, network, databases and applications
  • Processing tasks with a clear understanding of customer needs
  • Establishing a good network with the operation teams of partner applications
  • Maintaining operation guides and process descriptions


Incident Management

  • Resolving incidents within the SLA deadlines
  • Reporting multiple incidents to development
  • Recovering the application
  • Monitoring the application
  • Enabling 1st levelsupport to resolve incidents
  • Informing customers and power-users about incidents


Problem Management

  • Identifying problems (reactively / proactively)
  • Identifying automation opportunities
  • Creating descriőtions of known errors and workarounds
  • Coordinating and prioritizing processing problems


Change Management

  • Maintaining and configuring the business application
  • Creating standardized changes


Project support

  • Representing the application in projects
  • Supporting the service transition to new customers
  • University Degree
  • Basic understanding of a Java enterprise application and its components
  • Basic SQL know-how
  • Java Enterprise Application server
  • HP Service Manager 9
  • HP Quality Center
  • Subversion
  • MS Office
  • ITIL Foundation knowledge
  • Deep knowledge and experience in service design, transition and operations
  • 2 years work experiences as Service Manager
  • ITIL Foundation v3 Certification
  • Communication Skills
  • Process orientation and analytical thinking
  • Initiative, flexibility, willingness to travel and communicate; team skills
  • High customer, quality and result orientation
  • Very confident manner; targeted communication and presentation skills
  • High degree of self-motivation and responsibility
  • High independence, initiative and analytical expertise
  • Distinctive skills to cross-divisional thinking and working
  • High service-oriented attitude
  • Good innovation and enthusiasm skills
  • English C1, German nice to have
