Service Desk Agent

Our client’s first Global Delivery Center was established at Budapest, Hungary in 2001. The objective of this center is to provide near-shore services to the customers in Western (the UK and the Continent) and Eastern Europe and to customers with a global presence. This center provides substantial benefits such as same time zone support, country-specific localization skills, enhanced mobility and convenience with respect to visa issues, ability to service projects that require access to sensitive data, reduced travel time and costs, etc. This center works in close collaboration with other global delivery centers for providing 24/7 global support using local associates in various regions. We are looking candidates for the following role:


Service Desk Agent




  • Provide helpdesk support and resolve problems to the end user’s satisfaction
  • Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the IT helpdesk
  • Monitor Service Desk for tickets assigned to the queue and process first-in first-out based on priority
  • Modify configurations, utilities, software default settings, etc. for the local workstation
  • Utilize and maintain the helpdesk tracking software
  • Document internal procedures
  • Install, test and configure new workstations, peripheral equipment and software
  • Report issues to the Service Desk for escalation
  • Manage PC setup and deployment for new employees using standard hardware, images and software.



  • Relevant work experience
  • Fluent English + Russian language knowledge
  • Good grasp of technology and tools
  • Experience in working with customers or in an international environment
  • Flexibility for occasional shifts
  • Reliable, open, communicative personality who works well within a team and has accurate work habits
  • Customer orientated, a good listener and asks competent and well directed questions
  • Ready to learn new applications and solutions and has quick learning ability
