Senior Tax Analyst

Location:
Budapest

Responsibilities:

• Preparation and review of European VAT returns and payments
• Preparation and review of European Intrastat Declarations
• Reconciliation of VAT accounts
• Investigation and follow up of reconciling items with various departments and countries to ensure prompt clearance of outstanding items
• Tax Audit Support including investigation, analysis and providing responses to questions from European affiliates and local Tax Authorities
• Building effective relationships with European Tax Departments
• Working with other team members to identify potential process improvement opportunities
• Main contact for Tax advisors in applicable countries (discussion, reviews, audits, preparation of documents for the tax administration)
• Controls advisory, KPI reporting

Requirements:

• College or University degree in Finance, Accountancy or Economics
  
• Accounting knowledge
• Fluency in English both written and oral
• Second European language is an advantage
• 1 to 4 years experience with strong interest in taxation
  
• Ability to influence and to work in a team environment
• Communication and problem solving skills
• Ability to meet priorities and deadlines
• Numeracy, accuracy and PC skills
