Senior Research and Development Engineer

MFKK Invention & Research Centre ( www.mfkk.eu ) is a leading company in Hungary (Budapest) carrying out research and development for a wide range of European and National funded projects. Their main profile is to serve as a link between industry and academia in order to promote innovation in Europe. The field of activities include IT, electrical & mechanical engineering, sensor technology, and telecommunications among others.
The team consists of a group of engineers with varying backgrounds who are supported by an experienced project management team. Everyday running of the company includes the coordination of projects, research and development tasks, reporting, regular communication with partners, networking with industry, developing new concepts, and frequently travelling abroad for project meetings.

Our team is currently looking for:

Senior Research and Development Engineer
(Electrical Engineering background)

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Performing electrical engineering tasks in running projects
• Design, prototyping and testing of electrical circuits
• Preparing reports and technical documentations
• Daily communication with project coordinator, project partners
• Developing new R&D project concepts
• Attending conferences and keeping up-to-date with technology

Skill Requirements:

• Electrical engineering degree (or equivalent)
• Knowledge and 3+ years experience in electrical engineering
• Good written and spoken English
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Creativity and multidisciplinary thinking, flexible and dynamic attitude
• Ability to meet strict deadlines, precise and responsible manner

Advantages:

• Demonstrable experience in wireless technologies is needed
• Experience in power electronics (power supplies) is an advantage
