 Senior Payroll Subject Matter Expert


Country:    Hungary (+36) • Budapest

Description of position:    This role encompasses various activities to ensure smooth, timely and accurate Payroll operations,working closely with employees, managers, as well as other departments

Duties:    Responsibilities:

•- Continuously strive to deliver excellence in Customer Service.

•- Handle complex inquiries the payroll practitioners cannot answer timely (four working days turn around time).

•- Be the payroll expert, identifying ideas and investigating those raised by other team members to ensure maximum efficiency in the payroll process

•- Lead the implementation of changes and manage projects to improve timeliness, accuracy and efficiency of the payroll processes.

•- Provide proactive support to management in case of internal or external audit.

•- Represent the Payroll team in cross-domain meetings and client visits.

•- Back-up payroll colleagues whenever needed (planned or unplanned absence)

•- Develop and roll out Education for the Payroll team when preparing for new initiatives/changes..

Requirements, skills:    Requirements:

•- English: fluent

•- Bachelor's Degree

•- Minimum 2 years experience in Payroll and/or Accounting

•- Advanced Excel skills

Preferred:

•- Master's Degree

•- Drives good team work through clear and proactive communication and cooperation.

•- Ability to work under own initiative, with minimal supervision in order to manage workload to meet deadlines.

•- Ability to work across boundaries and form productive relationships with other departments.

Known languages:    Fluent English knowledge
