Provider of HR solutions, is looking for a professional for its partner in the following position:

Senior GL & Reporting Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Build a new GL team and BSO culture, including developing the GL team of employees and leaders;
  • Leading a high-performing, customer- and service oriented culture within the GL department;
  • Leading optimisation initiatives across functional areas;
  • Leading performance management within team;
  • Implement and optimise functional processes within department scope;
  • Actively taking part in creating a culture that inspires to collaboration, encourage knowledge sharing and incorporates exciting “New Ways of Working” in the everyday;
  • Building and strengthening basic stakeholder relations across areas and geographies including collaboration and culture (incl. Business Controllers, Treasury, CRBC, Tax);
  • Leading high-quality execution of advanced GL processes in a timely, efficient and accurate manner, including:         
    • Monthly closing - Review distribution expenses, cost of goods sold and gross profit margins for reasonableness;
    • Booking economic transactions and operations;
    • Reconciliations (accounts, intercompany, bank, etc.) to ensure all accounts are properly stated in Legal books;
    • Provide data, analysis and advice necessary to support financial business partners / business in decision making process.

Requirements:

  • Finance or accounting degree;
  • CPA/ACCA is an advantage;
  • Registered Chartered Accountant degree is a must;
  • Minimum 7 years of professional experiences within the field of GL;
  • Minimum 5 years of managerial experience from similar position in a Business Service Operations / Shared Service Center, demonstrating experience from leading larger teams;
  • Fluency in English and Hungarian;
  • Microsoft Office and SAP experience at advanced level;
  • Strategic view;
  • Ambitious, charismatic, inspiring, visionary and evolutionary personality.
