Salary £15,456-£16,935 per annum pro rata (£8.47-£9.28 per hour)

The successful candidate will primarily provide clerical and administrative support to the 'Support from the Start' function within Early Years.

Full time, 35 hours per week
The successful candidate will primarily provide clerical and administrative support to the allocation of school places (Placing Requests), nursery places (Nursery Application Management System - NAMS) and the implementation of the Children and Young People (Scotland) Bill which increases the provision of early years education and childcare in Scotland.

The successful candidate will primarily provide clerical and administrative support to recruitment/HR function within Education including schools and supply staffing. Tasks will involve supporting the whole recruitment process from the initial recruitment request to recruit through to employee contract release in accordance with East Lothian Council's recruitment policy and procedures.
Part time,16 hours per week
Over a minimum of 3 days per week (must include a Friday)
The successful candidate will primarily provide clerical and administrative support to Training and Development team and other functions within the Education Business Unit. Tasks will involve supporting the Training and Development programme within Education including the booking of venues, allocation of staff on courses, event set-up ensuring any resource materials are provided and evaluations are processed.

For vacancies 3 and 4 we would welcome applications from those wishing to combine both posts, initially working 26.5 hours per week until July 2015, then reducing to 16 hours per week on a permanent basis.
