The position’s function is to provide Monitoring Solution services, support to Event Management, alerting monitoring requirements, document significant baseline metric as standard metrics governance, and ensure monitoring infrastructure is enabled to supported systems.
Experience with installation, implementation, configuration, systems upgrade and administration of Microsoft System Center Operations Manager 2007 and 2012 in large environment.
Working with Solution, Application and Operation teams to design monitoring solution and management pack to cover identified baseline metrics as standard to meet overall requirements.
Perform requirements collecting and assessment to ensure effective event, alerts, and monitoring for various application and infrastructure platforms.
Collecting various of data sources to produce consolidated and timely reporting.
Analysing operational issues and develop recommendations to optimise monitoring solution support.
Provide improvement plan to enhance administration processes for effective monitoring operation management.
Provide project support in term for implementation activities that included User Acceptance Testing.
Develop, Analyze, Test and implement monitoring standards for platforms and applications utilizing relevant scripting languages
Oversee the rollout of new and updated monitoring scripts
Investigate and resolve technical problems associated to monitoring systems in timely fashion.
Document supporting policies, processes and procedures.
Develop and provides reporting services to support capacity management, availability management and performance management for application and infrastructure platforms to meet KPI requirements.
Regular review monitoring systems and services to ensure stability and security compliance.
Comply and adhere to processes, policies and governance control.
Complex technology integration, including network infrastructure, application integration, virtualization cross platforms, and various of infrastructure platforms.
Monitoring Infrastructure design, assessment and operation optimization.
Customer Service and Escalation management.
