SAS Demand Analyst - Sussex

We have just embarked on an exciting journey towards improved forecasting for all our businesses which is why we are looking to recruit a passionate SAS Demand Analyst. You'll be responsible for providing high quality, reliable statistical forecasts to the Demand planning community on a monthly basis whilst improving forecasting accuracy for the 18 month rolling cycle. Playing a lead role in the successful implementation of SAS within the UK is paramount.
As a SAS Demand Analyst you'll play a key role in developing, implementing and rolling out a new approach in managing statistical forecasting using cutting edge SAS software. Being part of a global Nestlé network of SAS Demand Analysts, you're primary responsibility will be to make statistical analysis deliver actionable, value added insights to the business enabling competitive advantage within an ever changing industry landscape. Working with the Demand Planning community across the Nestle category businesses, you will be developing improved ways of working with the support of the implementation team to develop improved ways of working and the efficiency of our forecasting process built around the SAS software.
As the successful candidate you'll be educated to degree level or above within a statistical, mathematic or Economics discipline whilst having a solid understanding of statistical analysis is used to drive commercial business insights. Having proven data management skills and being proficient at handling large amounts of data through programming software is paramount. Our expectation is, you'll be excited by this field of work and able to build solid relationships with key stakeholder groups whilst developing a comprehensive understanding of demand planning, business forecasting processes and driving continuous improvement.
