Salesforce Technical Analyst - Middlesex, EC1M 7GT
Member of the Application Services Team providing Salesforce technical development and administration support expertise to the GTS business groups. The role is expected to work with the business groups to help define and implement Salesforce technical solutions, including integrations with other group operational systems. The scope of this role is deemed to be global within the Kuoni GTS business group.
REPORTING AND KEY RELATIONSHIPS:
Reports to the Salesforce Application Service Owner and works within the Salesforce Application Services Management team. Role requires strong relationships to be built and maintained with GTS internal groups, and to a lesser extent external teams (consultants), IT departments, Business Analysts and other Kuoni project teams.
Estimate & cost project work relating to systems development and integration.
Undertake Salesforce SDLC activities ( Analysis & Design, Software Development, Unit & System Testing) for projects as required.
Design and build Salesforce application integration capabilities with other GTS operational systems.
Provide technical subject matter expertise and knowledgebase within the organization.
Coordinate and facilitate regular meetings and dialogue with client departments (re. requirements definitions) and/or external 3rd party suppliers and clients.
Provide second/third level application support to the systems helpdesk/business.
Governance - adhere and comply to GTS processes and practices, and ensure all relevant Salesforce policies and proceduresareproperly documented and current.
Provisioning of project estimates/approaches to business groups based on experience and methodology
Provisioning of technology solutions for Salesforce related enhancements/integrations
Application support for client departments (including out of hours support)
Managing and coordinating system developments with external resources.
Governance - managing and coordinating change within Salesforce.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Salesforce technical (integration, development, configuration) experience.
Must be Salesforce Admin 201 certified. Dev 401 certification would be advantageous.
Knowledge of data integration and presentation technologies like HTML, XML, SOA, Web Services, WSDL etc.
Toolset experience of administrative & productivity tools like MS Project, JIRA, MS Office, UML
Experience of working in small technology groups within commercial business orientated environments, with the ability to grasp and convert business initiatives/requirements into technical solutions.
Ability to work with end users, manage stakeholder relationships and motivate teams.
Self starter with strong communication, analytical and problem solving skills.
Project focused approach, yet flexible and pragmatic in solution definition.
