Sales Engineer

The role of a salesman is vital and important . The position requires strong and professional  technical and commercial supporting to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hitting personal targets and objectives through our client's products and solutions sales
  • Position is focused on Consumables and Standard Equipment sales
  • Representing the company in the country and building customer relations
  • To promote the company's products and solutions to distributors and direct customers
  • Accountable for delivering the agreed revenue targets and meeting all objectives set during planning process.
  • Develop existing customers and new prospects
  • Responsible for own cost budget
  • Strive to obtain best and up-to date technical knowledge and skills
  • Strong Team spirit and team play is essential
  • Proactive support to partners
  • Reporting, planning, phasing and adjusting targets and market information
  • Focus on Consumables and Standard Equipment sales but think on corporate level and provide support to PA
  • Responsible for allocated Distributors and Direct customers
  • Responsible for maintaining own Funnel and CRM system
  • Responsible for discovering growth opportunities and maintain sustainable high profitability
  • Responsible to follow up partners overdue situation for securing fluent business activity.


  • Achievement of account plan budgets
  • Driving revenue growth according to agreed activity plan
  • Own cost budget
  • Utilisation of sales tools/resources
  • Responsible for customers according to an agreed account plan
  • Responsible of identifying own training needs
  • Responsible for identifying and utilising technical support
  • Forecast and execution – yearly volumes and values by product group by accounts through a monthly phasing
  • Maintenance of own customer data base via CRM database
  • Report sales results, market trends, competitor activities
  • Establish activity plans that includes product/market strategy on respective accounts in particular mapped segment




Person Specification:

  • Open for frequent travelling
  • Good commercial and negotiation skills
  • Good knowledge of welding products and applications or close related business products
  • Ability to create good relations with customers – good social skills
  • Fairly good understanding of the financial aspects of the business
  • Fluent in English language and native Hungarian
  • Qualified and certified welding expert is a plus to have
  • Basic skills in Windows (Word & Excel)
  • Business minded personality
  • Highly motivated self driven Sales engineer that can work independently
  • Production /sales oriented person that strive for the best solution
  • Willing to travel extensively
  • Driving licence
  • An open minded and flexible personality
