Sales Engineer Biopharm
Our client is a global leader in bio-pharmaceutical processing, separation and filtration solutions. The company enjoys excellent reputation and provides comprehensive international training program. We are seeking Sales Engineer to join their Hungarian affiliate and build profitable business relationships with pharmaceutical business partners.

The purpose of the Sales Engineer role is to represent Biopharm product portfolio to pharmaceutical manufacturing partners in Hungary and ensure continuous business growth.

Key responsibilities:

• Follow up and regular visits to existing customers, securing existing business and developing new applications at their production sites, prepare market reports
• Build up consolidated relationships at all levels (process engineers, technical management, maintenance, purchasing group)
• Increase penetration at key accounts, expand customer spend
• Identify new customers and their potential and their approach
• Promote new products / initiatives at existing and new customers, in cooperation with the tactical marketing function
• Interface with technical inside sales for made-to-order solutions, where required
• Own his / her budget, contributing to its definition
• Consistently and timely report results against budget, explaining deviations and identifying corrective actions in case of gaps
• Ensure commercial sales terms, supporting customer service and credit collection teams if needed


• Proven track record in technical sales preferably with separation, processing, laboratory equipment
• Pharmaceutical industry experience, knowledge is desirable;
• University degree in Chemical Engineering or other Life Sciences discipline
• Experience interacting with technical personnel
• Readiness to identify new opportunities for growth
• Clear sense of urgency and business impact
• Willingness to travel, min. 50%.
