Sage Customer Services for Mid-Market Europe (UK) is based in Winnersh, near Reading, and supports our Customer Relations Management (CRM) software amongst other mid-Market flagship products, as part of the International Sage Group. The Customer Services CRM team includes a number of highly skilled consultants supporting our highly acclaimed CRM product (on-premise and cloud offering) for our direct customers and customers through our well established channel. Our focus is to provide an exceptional service to our customers to ensure the feel fully supported in using our systems with complete confidence.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Sage Customer Services CRM Consultant, supporting Sage business partners and customers in their implementation and usage of the Sage CRM Cloud based product. The purpose of this role is to deliver an important part of our Customer For Life Initiative. This is a front-line role answering first line queries and fronting more complex issues for our CRM Cloud customer base. Additionally, providing an Extraordinary Customer Experience in line with our Sage Brand Values.

About the role
You will be passionate about providing services to our customers for our world-class software, wanting to learn and gain new skills as you progress. You will have a customer-focused outlook, wanting to overcome technical challenges whilst maintaining a high level of customer experience in this demanding, but rewarding role.

You will be enthusiastic and a good communicator, able to work both on your own initiative; managing your own time effectively, and also in a structured team-based environment; working closely with others to achieve shared goals and meet deadlines together.

To succeed in this role you will have previous experience in a customer service environment, with excellent customer service skills and a professional telephone manner with matching written skills. Working knowledge of Windows7/8 from a support perspective coupled with experience of Firefox, Chrome and mobile devices (Android/Apple). All this, enhanced with a basic understandin g of how websites work over the internet. Working knowledge of appropriate database/operating systems: Windows and SQL Server, would be an advantage.

An ability to troubleshoot complex customer issues and set customer expectations is critical for this role, along with a clarity of communication and understanding to get things documented and done.
Experience of working in a small business environment is also desirable.
