Summary and purpose of the role:
• Fulfil the role of Microsoft Dynamics AX expert, particularly within Finance. • Delivery of Microsoft Dynamics assurance engagements for clients . • Support the business development activity across the North. • Support Dynamics Team members across other PwC Regions. • Support other team member with project assurance and security work. • Location - either Manchester, Leeds or Newcastle
Key accountabilities
• Being a key part of the national Dynamics team and helping to win and deliver work related to Dynamics • Responsibility for delivering high quality engagements for Risk Assurance in the North.
• Being part of the delivery of Risk Assurance services for a wide range of clients across the North of the UK, especially in Dynamics but also to be part of other ERP project assurance assignments
• Proactively developing other team members with Microsoft Dynamics AX knowledge through one to one coaching and small group workshops.
• Keeping up to date with latest developments from Microsoft with Dynamics, and feeding this information back to the wider team.
• Support with and contribution towards business development activities within Risk Assurance North.
• Contribution towards and participation in industry events hosted by PwC for Dynamics clients and guests.
• Will be UK-based and most work will be in the UK, though some assignments will require travel from time to time
Knowledge, skills and experience
• Finance background with proven experience in Microsoft Dynamics AX, including AX2012 version (could be as end user or via a Dynamics MS partner) • Knowledge and experience of other Microsoft stack applications. • Detailed application knowledge on Dynamics AX2012 financials • Background in operational business and able to relate to and understand clients' business challenges • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. • Good interpersonal skills.
