Reporting and Master Data Team Leader

Job Summary:

The Reporting and Master Data Team Leader is working as part of a team of 4-8, plays a key role in the supporting of the team as well as harmonization of the processes, ensuring of correct and timeliness reporting. Responsible for delivery of Services agreed in SLAs. Train new colleagues and support team development. The person will be responsible for producing detailed management reports (weekly/monthly) within the defined Master Data policy and timetable and providing an analyze of the service levels achieved. Take part in European projects, to standardise content and processes around Master data files and in particular focusing on item master data. The role demands a real attention to detail, delivery of all results within an established timetable and an insight for improvement development (team and processes)

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and coach the team (incl. performance appraisal, input regarding salary matters, training)
• Manage and ensure the workload between team members is well allocated
• Train and coach new employees
• Drive changes within the reporting and master data area and functionalities
• Make sure deadline and daily work is performed according to service levels
• Continuous improvement of services provided by the team
• Monitoring and escalating issues to the appropriate level
• Preparing weekly/monthly report within the master data policy and framework
• Follow-up KPIs for the team
• Ensure compliance to policies and SOX controls; assists external and internal audits as needed
• Participating or leading projects as required
• Create and follow up personal development plans; performance targets

• Experience from similar position

• Good eye for detail
• Knowledge in financial terms / accounting would be great
• Experience from ERP systems, preferably Movex, JDE
• Knowledge in MS Office package, especially MS Excel/MS Access
• Good English language skills, other languages a bonus
• Good communication skills
• Initiative to work independently and with little or no guidance
• Work under pressure and meet deadline
• Some people management, coordination experience
