A unique opportunity has arisen to manage an in-house staff and client catering facility within Europe's largest IT business.

Previous relevant experience and necessary skill set to deliver efficient, quality and service.

We are now seeking an experienced Catering Manager to manage our catering team who will possess a high level of customer service to ensure satisfaction and an efficient and welcoming experience.


Responsible for overseeing the smooth running of the café. To work closely with the team to ensure that standards are constantly maintained.

Main Responsibilities will include:

Ensure café prepared and organised for the day's business.
To manage the food provision for conferences and meeting rooms, 'Refresh' and other micro sites.
To take a hands on management approach.
Responsible for the day to day running of the kitchen including the "hands on" preparation and service of food. Taking particular responsibility for menu compilation, training and food production.
To monitor the quality of the food leaving the kitchen and take appropriate action where necessary to ensure customer satisfaction.
To monitor the cooking, chilling and storage of foods, keeping records as required and taking appropriate action where necessary to ensure that we comply fully with HACCP and COSHH procedures.
Ensure you and your team exceed customer expectations and stimulate repeat business through professional and cost efficient management.
To achieve budget GP and Payroll costs, whilst working with all front of house departments to help maximise food sales.
To ensure that both strict hygiene controls and health and safety regulations are adhered to in all kitchen areas.
To lead, encourage and manage the team
To recruit, train and monitor staff.
To review and make recommendations regarding the menus and food quality
To manage and maintain a secure environment
To achieve financial objectives as outlined in budget
Control expenditure within the business without compromise to quality
To maintain statistical and financial records
Address problems in a timely manner
To maintain existing and build new relationships with suppliers with the objective of negotiating prices within budgeted guidelines
To plan and manage staffing levels effectively in accordance with the business forecast and budget
To carry out an accurate monthly stock takes with the outside auditors.
Carry out regular inspections of the property in order to provide a first class property for customers.
To maintain the highest standard of professionalism, ethics and attitude towards customers and colleagues
Ensure compliance with licensing laws; Health & Safety and other statutory regulations
