With the increasing regulatory emphasis on treating customers fairly, and achieving good customer outcomes, we help our clients ensure they are compliant with internal and regulatory requirements. Evolving regulatory requirements and expectation means existing remediation and redress programmes often require review or recalibration.

We work across the full lifecycle of redress and remediation programmes, from advising on policy, process and programme design to providing resource and technology to support the execution of existing and new programmes (including fully outsourced options), and providing quality assurance and monitoring support. To help us effectively delivery these programmes, we are looking for a Project Management Officer ("PMO").
About the role
As a PMO, you will play a vital core role in the project delivery of our R&R; programmes, improving the efficiency and effectiveness of our delivery teams from beginning through to successful conclusion. Over the course of the project lifecycle, your role will require you to influence and deliver across a wide variety of operational activities including production of Management Information, project finance and billing, communications, event facilitation, logistics implementation, resource planning and task planning. Working within a regulated environment, you will have to stay abreast of regulatory developments driving the industry and key issues affecting regulated firms so as to anticipate and understand the impact of such developments on clients.
Your key responsibilities:
• Support delivery of our projects, enabling delivery to timescale, budget and agreed scope;
• Continually assess progress, providing early warnings of variances and exceptions to the programme/project leadership;
• Monitor financial and commercial status, including key dependencies and change management suggestions, proactively searching for more efficient resolutions to increase client value;
• Constructively assess project progress, regularly liaising and challenging delivery leaders and management team;
• Identifying and monitoring key performance indicators that may highlight capacity / capability constraints and over commitment of resources or changes to particular areas;
• As a PMO manager, you will also be required to coach and supervise associates who form part of the PM function.
Essential Requirements
• Degree educated:
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio and Project;
• Proven experience in developing and maintaining resource plans, risk management, schedules, budgets and financial forecasts, change control, management information and status reports;
• Proven supervisory experience and liaison with senior project leaders;
• Ability to work effectively under pressure while remaining responsive to client needs; and
• Pragmatic and objective approach to problem-solving and the ability to multi-task.
Desirable skills
• A recognised project or programme management qualification e.g. Prince 2
• Overseeing the identification and mapping of key systems and controls for demonstrating compliance with applicable FSA regulations;
• Experience within the financial services industry.
