Our client

Our client is a leading global financial services company. Currently we are looking for a new colleague in the position of Real Time Video Communications Engineer.


- Engineer and design of Real Time Communication products and services, in support of the company's enterprise unified communications and collaboration initiatives related to voice, video and Instant Messaging
- Provide technology and engineering solutions, in support of the company's enterprise unified communications and collaboration initiatives with a core focus on video communications and conferencing
- Work closely with Senior Systems Analysts, Business Analysts, Developers, Enterprise Architects and Operational staff from around the globe to provide state of the art communication and collaboration solutions
- Create and maintain design, testing and implementation documentation
- Manage component and system level design, lab and development work, test plans and supporting documentation
- Ensure that solutions meet the company's critical interoperability (i.e. telephony, voice, instant messaging, messaging, video on a multitude of end points which include mobile devices, virtual devices and traditional desktop/laptops), security, compliance, and end user usability requirements


- Minimum 3 years technical working experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Technical ability to understand the potential challenges with business requests and the ability to work with across domain engineering teams to develop solutions/options
- Ability to architect/design and implement Unified Communications (UC) solutions including but not limited to: Cisco CUCM/ Jabber/ VCS/ TMS/TPServer etc, Avaya ACM/AES, Microsoft Lync 2010/2013, Active Directory, Distributed Windows Server Environment, SIP based communication and call flow (IM, voice, video, messaging), WebRTC technologies, mobile based communication
- Strong technical background in the areas of video communications and conferencing
- Knowledge of virtual desktops including Citrix XenApp, VDI preferred. Knowledge of Audio/Video protocols, telephony, and SIP trunking
- Experience with OCS 2007 R2/Lync 2010/2013, audio/video codecs and bridging, call flow and integration between Cisco/Avaya/Microsoft UC platforms. Desktop client configuration/customization experience (i.e, Lync 2010/2013, Jabber)
