Reporting directly to the Operations Manager you’ll enjoy managing people, developing current quality tools and continuous improvement, planning and organizing the daily performance of quality area in line with Lear’s global strategy. It goes without saying you’ll have strong manufacturing acumen, be goal orientated, enjoy changes and production analysis. The unique role is based in Gyor in Hungary for our JIT Plant.
Responsibilities will include:
- Management of Quality Documentation for audits
- Developing quality measurements and prevention systems in the production processes
- Demonstration of potential cost reduction
- Complaints handling
- Develop and implement EHS objectives in the plant in line with corporate standards
- Closely follow the successful implementation of the new projects (improve the collaboration with the subcontractors and/or to improve the financial results of the plant).
To be successful you’ll need:
A track record of success working in international automotive companies is ideal with a strong background in manufacturing area. In your previous roles, you will have successfully driven and lead a Quality Department. You ideally will have a minimum of 3 years running a quality function. You’ll need to be interpersonally strong, PC literate and able to analyze data. Communicative in English, German and Hungarian is required.
Ideally you’ll have a University degree in Technical field and have a good working knowledge of: APQP, PPAP, FMEA.
