Reporting to our Quality and Food Safety Manager, this Quality Food & Safety Technologist role is all about ensuring a robust Quality Management programme, in addition to ensuring compliance of the HACCP and GMP/Allergen programmes through the design of supporting system, thorough risk-assessments, training, validation and auditing. So, working with associates across the Kings Lynn manufacturing facility, you'll be driving and delivering continuous improvement initiatives for all our products. Other key Quality Food & Safety Technologist responsibilities include:
- Quality Incident Management and Investigation
- Risk Assessments and Change Management
- Special projects and troubleshooting
Qualified at least to a degree level in a biological, biochemical, food science or engineering discipline, you've already got an impressive track record in leading and delivering continuous improvement projects, which has involved designing and implementing Quality systems, including risk-assessments, validation and verification steps. With practical Knowledge of lean tools such as PDCA, DMAIC and/or Six Sigma, you're familiar with experimental design, product testing methodologies and statistical data analysis. A first-class all-round communicator, especially of technical information, you're happy to work either individually or as one of a team within a manufacturing environment. Together with computer-literacy, including good working knowledge of software applications, you can also bring to the table:
- strong functional/technical skills around microbiology and food technology/science
- good relationship skills, with integrity and trust
- a real drive for results
- the flexibility to travel
