Job descriptionPurpose of the Role: The role holder will initially be responsible for establishing and implementing and ITO Clinic to meet business needs. The ITO Clinic must be capable of supporting Operations for investigations of major supply chain, design or internal manufacturing issues affecting Operational performance to ensure root cause analysis is completed and long term sustainable corrective actions are implemented where needed. The ITO Clinic Quality Lead will also be responsible for championing the methodology and training employees across the business in deployment of these tools. Principle Accountabilities:
•Set up the Quality Clinic in line with Safran policies
•Ensure robust processes are in place for the running of the clinic
•Facilitate and guide assigned resources to ensure a timely investigation and resolution of issues raised through the Quality Clinic
•Ensure all investigations are carried out in accordance with the defined Safran + CI processes
•Drive corrective and preventative action from such investigations ensuring these are shared and deployed across the wider business as appropriate
•Support MRO investigations as required and ensure that any synergies are fully exploited
•Quality Response/Quality Control (QRQC) management
•Mentor and coach investigation team members in deployment of problem solving, CI and lean methodology tools.
•Oversee the nil hour returns process (NHR's) for Operations and support root cause analysis and ensure that lessons learned are addressed in manufacturing processes

Candidate skills & requirementsEssential Requirements / Personal Characteristics:
•Understanding of engineering and manufacturing processes and previous experience within a manufacturing environment
•Formal experience of lean techniques and problem solving tools
•Experience of accreditation requirements for ISO 9001, AS9100
•Good IT skills
•Strong leadership skills and ability to work as part of a team or individually to meet commitments
•Effective coaching skills and able to influence key stakeholders and drive change as needed
•Good general communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
•implement statistical process control techniques
•Determination and resilience to overcome obstacles which stop key deliverables being met, whilst demonstrating behaviours aligned to company culture
