The PC will co-ordinate translation work for an account and to ensure that this work progresses smoothly through all Language Services’ processes in order to meet customer requirements.

Duties and responsibilities


  • Receive all work for the assigned jobs from the customer and/or Project Manager
  • Raise job numbers, job sheets and tracking sheets
  • Raise purchase orders for any external work
  • Liaise with Translation Resourcing Analysts to ensure availability of translation resource
  • Inform PM’s and Programme Managers of any work that cannot be placed or completed within the schedule
  • Despatch work to translators with appropriate instructions and reference materials
  • Progress chase to meet schedule
  • Receive work from translators and move it through in-house translation-processes
  • Ensure all work goes through the Translation Process where applicable
  • Liaise with customers and customers’ agencies as required
  • Back-up the Project Manager


Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

  • Experience in an administrative role preferably within a translation/localisation environment
  • Experience in tracking and progress chasing
  • Able to anticipate challenges in processes and able to discover potential solutions
  • Team player
  • Self motivated
