Our prestigious multinational client from the reward services sector is looking for:Product and Business Development Manager

Goal of the position

To ensure growth of a new and growing department,  support sales appropriately via properly planned and executed marketing plan. The business is strongly based on trust and personal relationships. The ideal candidate has the right personality and motivation to lead this growth by continuously and establishing and strengthening business relationships with relevant stakeholders (potential clients, strategic partners, intermediaries, professional media representatives). The position is in deep contact with dedicated sales, feeding its pipeline and market/product knowledge and receiving market information from the field. The ideal candidate is therefore sales oriented.


Major tasks and responsibilities

1. Strategic and operative planning of the marketing activities

- Building the strategy for the category and products in her/his charge and recommending it for approval to the Marketing Director
- Support of the Marketing Director in the process of formulating the strategic marketing plan by recommending a framework plan of strategic actions for a 3-year horizon and developing directions for the category in his / her charge on the basis of his/her knowledge, internal analyses and market research

2. Relationship marketing

- Regular business networking in business networking breakfasts and other relevant networking forums
- active contact with the sales department à joining them on relevant client meetings, building their acquisition pipeline with direct leads and giving them directions on client acquisition and retention
- organizing workshops and seminars (independently or in cooperation with relevant business)

3. Program & Platform management

- Management of web platform (client and internal as well)
- local catalogue and supplier management and development

4. Offer development

- Premium Packaging
- Affiliate network
5. Marketing communication management

- Campaign management (including online campaigns - Google, FB, LinkedIn)
- Client and affiliate communication and content management (e.g. newsletters)

6. Marketing budget planning, monitoring and follow-up

7. Manage marketing agency relations

8. Internal/external market researches, surveys



Required competencies


  • 5+ ys business development /product / project / marketing management (B2B sector)
  • Excellent knowledge of the enterprise market, understanding of B2B marketing and sales
  • Fluent English & Hungarian is a must
  • Strong networking skills
  • Extroverted, outgoing personality that easily builds personal relationships
  • Affinity towards IT systems from functional aspect and advanced knowledge of online marketing automation (e.g. CRM, SEO, Google Analytics)
  • High level application of MS Office
  • Good understanding of value pricing and service business models
  • Comfortable with presentation and public speaking in front of internal and external audiences as well (internal = colleagues; external = conferences, workshops, press conferences)
  • Product management experience in bank/financial segment
