Applications are invited from fully qualified and provisionally registered (GTCS) primary teachers.
References will be requested from your referees by the recruitment team.
If you are successful in being accepted on to the register and you wish to be considered for temporary supply teaching in denominational schools you will be required to gain approval by the Catholic Church in terms of the Education (Scotland) Act 1980.

Regulated Work with Children
This post is considered Regulated Work with Children, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act, 2007. Therefore, it is an offence to apply if you are barred from working with children.
Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme Update check, prior to a formal offer of employment being made by South Lanarkshire Council.
