Presales Manager (BP)

As a Presales Manager you will manage an international team of Presales Engineers and will lead presales resources in EMEA area to support BalaBit's partner channel development efforts, sales and marketing activities. Your role includes supporting the relationships with existing and new partners, participating in business and solution development, representing the company and our solutions at various IT security events.

Key responsibilities

  • Managing and motivating the team of Presales Engineers.
  • Setting up presales strategy.
  • Developing presales processes and practices.
  • Ensuring to reach the annual sales targets.
  • Supporting the company expansion with strategic approach.
  • Taking part in solution development from technical point of view.
  • Attending and representing BalaBit at IT Security conferences.
  • Cooperating with Service Delivery, Product Management and Product Development teams.
  • Participating in new comers recruitment and selection process.
  • Reporting to the Head of Professional Services.


  • College or university degree in informatics or economics.
  • At least 5 years presales experience in international environment in IT security sector.
  • Experience in managing and motivating a team.
  • Deep technical knowledge (TCP/IP networking, Unix-Linux systems, application level protocols).
  • Fluent English both written and verbal (Hungarian is an advantage).
  • Strong technical orientation combined with excellent business sense.
  • Exceptional presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Willingness for frequent travel across EMEA.
