PC Systems Support Specialist

Then your place is at our company, in close to Budapest, next to the highway!

Your tasks would be:

  • General IT support – telephonic and personal + using a ticketing system
  • Windows 7installati on, configuration and support
  • Support and maintain PC’s across Hungary and rest of EMEA
  • Overseeing the day to day running of the IT Helpdesk, especially during early morning hours
  • Responsible for managing tickets assigned to the IT EMEA queue
  • Maintain Asset database of all Global IT Equipment
  • Network printers, configuration and support (HP, Ricoh, Zebra, Intermec, Dymo)
  • Security, CCTV and entrance system, configuration and support
  • Mobile wireless scanner - configuration and support
  • Purchase of IT equipment (Laptop, desktop, mobile phones, printers, toners etc)
  • IT asset management – documentation
  • Supervising and maintaining the network and the Server environment - Cooperation with network, server team
  • On-call activity – to turn up at the site if there is a system failure
  • Keep in contact with suppliers, service providers, third-parties and cross teams within the company (Finance, HR)
  • Writing documentation on Processes
  • Participating in budget planning for IT


Here is what we expect from you in terms of knowledge and experience:

  • Educated to college standard or equivalent is essential and Degree would be desirable
  • Excellent communication skills in Hungarian and English are essential
  • Ability to speak additional European or other languages are desirable
  • Previous IT Helpdesk and support experience
  • Knowledge of, and experience working in a Windows AD environment
  • Networking knowledge and experience – strong understanding of network concepts
  • Ability to fault find through a process of elimination
  • Experienced with working in a helpdesk ticketing system and using a knowledgebase
  • Experienced in provide remote IT support (telephonic + remote control etc.)
  • Experience working in a standardized PC environment where change is managed
  • Experience of supporting and understanding the manufacturing environment would be advantageous
