Our client

Our client is a major multinational production company. We are looking for a talented and dynamic Payroll Supervisor to their HR team.

Tasks

- Coordination and management of entire payroll function
- Manage and supervise direct reports within the Payroll Team
- Assist with administering payrolls (month end consolidation and processing support as required
- Supporting Reward Manager in checking and auditing of all payrolls, ensuring legislative & award compliance (tax compliance, superannuation etc)
- Reporting - Supporting Internal reporting requirements
- Participates in projects as required continual improvement and standardisation of payroll operations and systems
- Provides input and data for payroll related KPI reports
- Develops and updates payroll related manuals for managers
- Provides required data for Reward Specialist to run standard Reward processes
- Recommends or participates in the development of new procedures and policies related to payroll operations utilizing knowledge of local legislation, collective agreement policies and regulations
- Coordinates schedules and conducts information sessions for managers and decision makers to explain payroll policies and procedures and pro-actively involve, if company policies or processes need to change for legislation changes

Requirements

- College or university degree
- Fluency in English and French
- Minimum 3 years of end-to-end payroll process experience in multinational environment
- Previous payroll experience in Shared/Business Service environment is an advantege
- Extensive experience from working within areas as payroll and vendor management
- Extensive knowledge of working with employment law and social legislation, able to understand the rules
- Demonstrates good knowledge of payroll strategies and payroll systems
- Business process improvement experience
- Understanding of audit and data privacy and result driven
- Understanding SLA and KPI driven performance
- IT skills
- Knowledge of payroll principles, social legislation, practices, regulations and procedures
- People management skills
- Excellent analytical skills
- Accurate, precise and able to deliver on time under pressure
- Focus on customer service
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong and in-depth knowledge of performing detailed computation
- High personal integrity (Integrity & Trust) and result oriented
