Operations Associate - Global Medical Information

The responsible duty of the global medical information (GMI) team is to provide accurate medical information to healthcare professionals and patients alike about all medications currently tested in clinical trial studies.
Within an international team you will handle administrative tasks (e.g. organization of monthly meetings) as well as operational tasks (country specific process implementation and optimization).

Due to the many varied tasks, this role can be shaped to your individual background. The more experience you have in this field, the more responsibility you can take on. This is also an ideal opportunity for people who wish to develop their careers to become an operations manager.

Your key responsibilities:
· Organize monthly meetings (prepare agenda, minutes and follow up on actions)
· Act as global contact for questions related to the use of MI systems (SharePoint related software), help to identify solutions together with software responsible colleagues and provide trainings
· Oversee the development and maintenance of GMI intranet site
· Support the preparation of a GMI related FAQ
· Coordinate F2F meetings in collaboration with scientific departments
· Manage GMI surveys
· Support assigned GMI projects/activities (with increasing responsibility)

Your qualifications and characteristics:
· BSc , MSc or PhD in a life science/health care related field (e.g. pharmacy, medicine, biotechnology)
· Work experience in a health care setting (pharmaceutical company, hospital, pharmacy) is a plus
· Fluent verbal and written English skills (other languages are desirable)
· Strong interpersonal and communications skills
· Well-organized, excellent time management, detail-oriented

Assignment start: as soon as possible
Assignment duration: 1 year, with option of prolongation or permanent assignment
Workload: 100%
