Our client

Our client is a leading global financial services company. Currently we are looking for a new colleague in the position of Operations Administrator.

Tasks

- Analyse country / cluster expense trends and headcount plan - identify associated risks and agree resolution plans with senior managers.
- Ensure correct allocation of expense saving opportunities, support associated tasks and monitor progress / completion of these.
- Support of regional Finance organisation tasks including budgeting, expense management and cost saving initiatives
- Support all country / cluster financial reporting requirements
- Ensuring all Realty Services (RS) invoices are vetted, paid (and accounted for), RS EMEA related financial journals are posted in a timely and error free manner
- Ensuring that invoice elements are correct (supplier details, address, tax calculations, currency and amount etc.
- Preparation of financial journals that relate to specialist premises GAAP requirements, accruals & adjustments
- The input of accounting information on invoices and selection of initial approvers
- Assistance with project close-out (setting up assets, accounting, tracking creditors

Requirements

- Min half year of work experience in financial / administrative position in multinational environment
- Fluent English language knowledge
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Excellent research and problem solving skills
- Good IT skills covering Microsoft Office products
- Ability to plan, organize and schedule duties to meet processing deadlines
- Diplomatic skills
- Ability to process a high volume of detailed work in a short time frame
- Ability to be productive and accurate in a high-stress environment and meet stringent deadlines
- Flexibility in regards to working patterns in processing peak periods

Advantageous

- Economics, Accounting or Finance Degree
- General accrual based accounting knowledge (preferable but not necessary)
- Knowledge of real estate industry
- Finance Operations experience
- Knowledge of other European languages
