Job description**** 6 Months Contract ****
Reporting to the Industrial Management Accounting Manager in the UK business, this role is responsible for all financial matters relating to OE Operations.
Provide a single point of contact for Finance to OE modules, including module P&L (Profit Centre), sales reporting, understanding variances and forecasting/budgeting, driving financial accountability in the module and improving interface between Operations and Finance.
Key Accountabilities:
Acting as a business partner to Operations and Program Managers building effective relationships and influencing both through reasoned argument and in a more sophisticated way
Module Variance Analysis with a view to identifying opportunities for improvement and aiding Operations in understanding drivers for variance and impact on operating income and inventory
Review and feedback of OE Operations Business Partner Analysis & Reporting with all Modules/Profit Centres/Programs, incorporating Cost Centre Review including two way dialogue of historic financials and future finance implications to increase financial awareness in the module and improve the forecasting process
Review of Sales and Margin with a view to identifying issues and opportunities to the business
Liaise with Aftermarket Management Accountant on population of the Sales Database
Support Industrial Management Accounting Manager with budget and forecasting for the module
Delivery of policy deployment and cost containment metrics including understanding results and identifying opportunities for improvement including use of continuous improvement techniques
Update Policy Deployment, Bowling Cards, Control Review and other performance reporting templates and provide narrative on variance to plan/forecast
Support Financial Accounting team with the month end postings
From time to time the successful candidate may be required by the Company to perform other tasks and/or learn new skills which are not included in the above description, but are within the capabilities of the individual and, where necessary, training will be given.

Team orientated
The role requires a part or full qualification in Accounting or QBE and solid experience in a manufacturing environment in a multi-disciplined area
Experience of IFRS requirements
Computer literate with advanced Excel
Experience of identifying and thinking about ways to resolve issues such as budget overspend, as well as opportunities that have increased sales and margin
Strong experience of influencing at senior level
Desired Skills:
Experience of SAP an advantage
Operations or Engineering background is a plus
